„Whose streets? Our streets!“ German-French project week in Berlin 2026

on the topic of advertising

As part of the youth participation project „Whose streets? Our streets! Questioning advertising and access to public space,“ a German-French project week took place in Berlin from March 20-27, 2026. Together with the Paris-based organization „Résistance à l’Agression Publicitaire (RAP),“ we explored the diverse impacts of advertising, including discrimination. We also met with politicians and the Berlin Ad-Free initiative and brainstormed creative ways to use the vacant advertising spaces in public areas once they were no longer used for advertising.
