Using the Erasmus+ funding program to strengthen cooperation and networks among young activists? Sounds far-fetched, but it’s possible! Dedicate to the European Youth Week we’ll demonstrate this on May 3 at 1pm in Lyon at the 5 Rue Hector Berlioz, Villeurbanne, France. The Ban Fossil Ads Gathering 2026 is taking place there.
Program:
Duration: 60 min
1. Introduction/Expectations
2. Showing cool images of:
– Human rights in times of war, 2023
(How it all began, general idea)
(Brussels/Strasbourg as political landmarks. How it was planned and how it turned out. → See what would be possible if we were the cool, well-organized activists we’d like to be).
– Whose streets? Our streets! 2026
(Review of the project’s origins, the organizational steps, participant involvement, and the week itself?)
3. Briefly review the guidelines: „Why is this possible?“
– Non-formal youth work
– Show all the sections in the guidelines on „Climate Change“ and „Activism.“
– We’ll give you an idea of the time commitment required for the application process.
4. Cooperation offer: „What do we do next?“
Small group work: Collaborations?
5. Feedback?
